Cumbrian Red – A Special Preview with Terry Abraham

Cumbrian Red – A Special Preview with Terry Abraham
Description
Terry Abraham is the multi-award winning filmmaker and photographer of the critically acclaimed ‘Life of a Mountain’ trilogy which has been seen by millions on the BBC. Renowned for capturing the authenticity, light and drama of the Lake District National Park through the seasons, his love and enthusiasm for the fells is second to none. Having become accustomed to hanging out of paragliders and aeroplanes to capture the perfect aerial shots, Terry now turns the focus of his camera to the forest floor and to one of the area’s most treasured inhabitants.
Still currently in production, ‘Cumbrian Red,’ is a new, spectacular and inspiring documentary about our beloved, iconic native red squirrels within Cumbria and beyond, which are on the verge of extinction.
Terry will be sharing insights, anecdotes and tales into the production of his latest passion project film and sharing advanced preview clips of his work which is set to be released next May. His Majesty King Charles III, a keen lover of red squirrels has offered to support the film and Terry’s exploits producing the documentary has already brought national media interest along with various experts and charities due to the special scenes he’s captured of Squirrel Nutkin.”
Don’t miss this exclusive opportunity to be one of the first to enjoy extracts of this magical glimpse into the world of our local ‘red scamps.’ There will also be the chance to ask Terry questions following the presentation. Profits from this evening’s event will be donated to Penrith and District Red Squirrel Group.
