Community Grants Scheme
Penrith Town Council’s Community Grants Scheme supports local voluntary and community organisations, charities, Social Enterprises and Community Interest Companies delivering projects, services, or events that benefit the people of Penrith.
Grants of up to £5,000 are available for projects that deliver clear community benefit and meet at least one of the Council’s funding priorities. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis, subject to budget.
Each organisation may submit one application per financial year (1 April–31 March). We cannot accept applications from individuals.
Applicants are strongly encouraged to read the full Grants Scheme Guidance before applying and to contact the Council for advice if unsure about eligibility.
Ready to Apply?
To apply for grant from Penrith Town Council, please download the Community Grants Scheme Application Form and complete it in Microsoft Word and either email it to: office@penrithtowncouncil.gov.uk or print and send via post to Penrith Town Council, Unit 1, Church House, 19-24 Friargate, Penrith, Cumbria, CA11 7XR.
The Council will score applications using information from the application form information is provided in the Grants Scheme.
